How much does a garage door repair cost?
It depends on the part and your door, so we give you an upfront quote on site before any work starts. There is never a surprise charge after the fact.
My garage door makes a loud bang, what is wrong?
A loud bang is almost always a broken torsion spring. The door will then feel extremely heavy or refuse to open. Do not force it, call us and we will replace the spring safely.
Is it safe to use a garage door with a broken spring?
No. With a broken spring the opener or your arms are carrying the full weight of the door, which can damage the opener and is a real safety risk. Stop using it and book a repair.
Why does my door reverse before it closes?
Usually the safety sensors near the floor are blocked, dirty or out of alignment, or the close-force setting needs adjustment. We realign and test the sensors as part of the repair.
Do you fix the door or just sell me a new one?
We repair first whenever a repair is the right call. We only recommend a new door when the panels or frame are damaged beyond a safe, lasting fix, and we explain why.
What garage door brands and openers do you work on?

My remote stopped working, is that a repair call?
Often it is a dead battery or a remote that needs reprogramming, which is quick. If the opener logic board has failed we can repair or replace the opener. We will tell you which it is.
Can a heavy double door be repaired, or does it need replacing?
Most double doors are very repairable. Broken springs, frayed cables and worn rollers on a double door are routine work for us and far cheaper than replacement.
